Part of Khalifa City which is split into three areas, Khalifa City A is situated on the main highway to Dubai and is approximately 30 kilometers from the Abu Dhabi city centre.  This is a growing expat community offering a choice of small shopping areas, close access to the golf club and health facilities and is currently offering its tenant’s quite a wide choice of both nursery and primary education facilities.  There are mainly large villa’s on offer in this large community – there are a few smaller compound style living areas with around 20 villas self contained inside a security entrance. 

The bonus of villas in Khalifa City A is the access to land and many of the villas you come across will offer huge gardens and green spaces for use which makes it an attraction for family living.  There is a main shopping avenue with a variety of local shops as well as a couple of take aways.  Across the highway, you have access to Al Raha Shopping Mall and also just down the road, there is a large Carrefour.  No parking problems due to its large expanse of land – however, construction is ongoing from a homes and roads perspective and that means that things can get a little dusty!  If you don’t mind the drive into town for work or school (approx 20 – 30 minutes depending on traffic) then this is a great location to live and offers many plusses to families in Abu Dhabi.
